Dr. Ehud Shapira is currently the Chairman of Psagot Investment House Ltd. (Israel's largest investment firm) and Chairman of its subsidiaries Psagot Securities Ltd. and Psagot Mutual Funds Ltd.

Prior to this appointment, Dr. Shapira served as Chairman and Director of The Phoenix Holdings Ltd. and Director at Bank Leumi, Israel’s largest bank.

From 1995 to 2006, he was Senior Deputy CEO of Bank Leumi and a member of the Senior Management team. The team oversaw Corporate and International Banking and Credit Risk Management. During his time there, he was also responsible for various divisions including Business, Construction and Real Estate, International and Commercial.
