Prior to founding Brightman-Gil Real Estate Investment Management in 2013, Mr. Gil was CEO of Gazit-Globe Germany, a real estate firm that managed assets valued at approximately one billion shekels. Gazit Germany is a subsidiary of the Gazit-Globe (GZT-NYSE, TSX-TASE), one of the leading international real estate companies engaged in purchasing, developing and managing yielding assets.

Before his appointment as CEO of Gazit-Globe Germany, Mr. Gil was Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for Gazit-Globe in the USA. Prior to this, he worked in the Assets Acquisitions Department of the American REIT Equity One.

Between finishing his law degree and starting his graduate degree in business, Mr. Gil worked as an attorney in the Real Estate Department of the Israeli law firm S. Friedman & Co. 

Mr. Gil holds an LLB degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA degree from Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia, United States).
